โ๏ธ Postal
Great option if you're looking for the lowest shipping cost, especially for bulky-but-light parcels.
- Charged by actual weight.
- Ship time around 10โ14 working days, excluding customs or operational delays.
- Flat 10% prepaid duties (DDP), so landed cost is easy to work out upfront.
๐ฎ Standard
Faster, fully supported, and can sometimes offer better overall value.
- Charged by actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.
- Ship time around 6โ10 working days, excluding customs or operational delays.
- Duties calculated based on your item's declared value, HS code, and Country of Origin, so tariff exclusions may apply.
- Full support. Our team is able to assist with delivery enquiries where possible.
Why Standard can beat Postal on cost?
Although Postal works out cheaper most of the time, Standard may sometimes be the better deal, depending on what you're shipping.
Postal's flat 10% DDP is simple, but simple isn't always cheapest. Standard's duties are based on your actual product, so eligible HS codes may qualify for US tariff exclusions. On heavier parcels (around 0.5kg and up), that can pull Standard's total landed cost below Postal's.
