Important U.S. Shipping Updates (August 2025)

We’re adapting to major U.S. import rule changes and a few service updates so you can keep shipping smoothly.

What’s changing

De minimis is suspended from August 29, 2025.

Previously, U.S. shipments under USD 800 could enter duty-free. From August 29, 2025, all shipments will be subject to duties and taxes, regardless of value. These charges depend on the country of origin, so some goods may cost more to import than before.

Many providers are adjusting pricing or suspending services while they update systems. We’re listening to your feedback and updating our services and policies to minimize disruption.

• DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): Receiver pays duties/taxes at delivery.
• DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Sender prepays duties/taxes; no surprise fees at delivery.

• Transit time: ~2–5 business days
• Weight limit: No limit
• Tracking: End-to-end
• Insurance: Optional, 2.4% of declared value, up to USD 10,000
• Duties & taxes: DDU by default (receiver pays)
• DDP handling fee (if you prefer DDP): From SGD 12.50 per shipment (available after KYC)
• Additional surcharge: SGD 3.40 FedEx surcharge (effective since Aug 18)
• Pick-up: Free — no minimum

⭐ Select

• Transit time: ~7–10 business days
• Weight limit: ≤ 13 kg, charged in 0.5 kg increments
• Tracking: End-to-end
• Insurance: Not available
• Duties & taxes: DDU by default (receiver pays)
• DDP handling fee (optional): SGD 10 per shipment (available after KYC)
• Additional surcharge: None
• Pick-up: Free for 3+ parcels

📮 Standard

• Transit time: ~11–16 business days
• Weight limit: ≤ 2 kg, charged in 0.25 kg increments
• Tracking: End-to-end
• Insurance: Not available
• Duties & taxes: DDP only (sender prepays)
• DDP handling fee: SGD 2.50 per shipment (available after KYC)
• Additional surcharge: None
• Pick-up: Free for 3+ parcels

Compliance engine (phased rollout)

We’re launching tools to help you clear U.S. Customs more smoothly and accurately:

• Custom HS Code entry and Country of Origin declaration for U.S. shipments

• If your account is DDP-enabled, you’ll see estimated duties & taxes based on your inputs

• From September 1, 2025

• AI-powered HS code suggestions to improve classification and reduce clearance delays
