What Should I Do If My Recipient’s Address Is Not in English?

If your recipient's address is written in a language other than English (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.), you’ll need to translate it into English when filling up our shipment form.

Why Is This Necessary?

Our couriers are unable to process shipment details written in non-English characters. This includes recipient names, addresses, and city names. Submitting an address in a non-English script may result in a failed or delayed shipment, which is why we do not allow non-english address submissions!

📝 Note: Addresses written in English-based alphabets (e.g. Indonesian, Malay, German, Spanish) are acceptable, even if they are not in the English language. What matters is that they are written using the English alphabet, not characters like 汉字, かな, or кириллица.

How Do Couriers Process Address Information?

Couriers primarily rely on the postal code to determine the delivery region. Once the package reaches the correct local delivery zone, the street address and unit number help narrow it down to the specific building or recipient.

Because of this, it’s essential that:

• The postal code is correct and in the proper format for that country.
• The street name, building number, and unit number are clearly written in English alphabet characters.

Worried About Inaccurate Address Translations?

If you're concerned that your translated address might not be precise, feel free to write down or attach a printout of the original address in its native language onto the physical parcel itself.
