JustShip offers not just packing, but packing solutions tailored to your needs.
Once you have opted for our packing services, our professional team will assess and pack your items in the most suitable packaging that protects your items and reduces any movement for a safe transit. The types of packaging we offer includes polymailers, envelopes, standard sized carton boxs, customized carton boxs, crates, etc.
1. What Packing Services do you offer?
We have extensive experience in packing a wide range of items — including electronics, desktops, computers, monitors, small appliances, gifts, toys, books and personal items. Our team ensures each item is packed securely to withstand international transit.
Once you have opted for our packing services, we will assess and pack your items in a suitable packaging (eg. polymailer, envelope, standard sized carton box, customized carton box, crate). We will also ensure that the volumetric weight is kept to a minimum so you save on shipping costs.
2. Where is packing done?
All packing will be done at our warehouse. We do not offer on site assessment or packing at your address at the moment.
3. How do you charge for packing?
Packing starts from SGD 5.50, and will depend on your item’s specific needs. Packing cost usually varies according to the size (measurements) and fragility of your items.
4. How do you ensure fragile items are safe?
Your valuables are precious, so we treat them with the utmost care. Fragile Packing services are customised to the specific needs of your shipment.
For delicate items that needs fragile packing, we will use a combination of thick bubble wrap, foam padding, double-boxing, and void-fill to cushion and protect your shipment during transit. 📦✨ Each fragile item is packed based on its unique shape and sensitivity to ensure maximum protection.

5. Can I opt for packing services without shipping?
We only offer packing services exclusively to our shippers at the moment.
6. Can I purchase packing supplies / boxes from you?
Unfortunately, our packing materials are not available for sale. If you don’t have your own packing materials, we recommend opting for our packing service instead.
Just pass your items to us in a bag — we’ll pack them securely at our warehouse using all the necessary materials. Our team ensures your shipment is packed compactly to help you save on shipping costs.
7. Will you help to pack or seal up my parcel during pick-up?
Preparing for your Pick-up
- If you're shipping a large number of miscellaneous items and have engaged our packing services, we recommend placing your items in disposable bags for easy handling by our driver.
- For shipments with multiple small, fragile items that lack external protection, such as shipping 24 wine glasses as is, we recommend reaching out to us via WhatsApp with images of your items.
- Our customer service team can then assess your shipment and make special arrangements if needed.
- This could include preparing protective material for the courier to pad your items with before placing them into a box.
What happens after Pick-Up
- Once your items reach our warehouse, they are in the hands of our experienced packing team, equipped with advanced packing technology 📦🔧.
- This combination of expertise and technology ensures your parcels are packed and sealed according to international shipping standards.
- This efficient process not only guarantees the safety of your items but also allows us to pass on cost savings to you 💰.
8. What about adjustments to shipment costs after packing?
We believe in fair pricing. The final shipping cost is determined after packing, considering changes in package size. This includes over-declaring of measurements, where we refund the excess paid in 1- 3 weeks. No hidden fees, no surprises.
9. Can I cancel if the final cost exceeds my budget?
- Customers will receive a full refund for the shipping cost, excluding any charges incurred for pick-up, packing services and return delivery, should these services have been provided.
- Please note that cancellations after the package has been shipped are subject to approval and may incur additional charges.

What do you pack?
1. Do you pack paintings? 🖼️
Yes we do! Our team is experienced in handling fragile items like paintings, and we make sure they are packed sufficiently for transit.
A quick way to get a rough estimate is to buffer for about 10cm on each side for your painting for the packing, then get a quote on our rate calculator.

With these details, we'll be able to give you a personalized quote and ensure that your artwork is shipped securely to its destination.
2. Do you ship/pack luggages? 🧳
Yes, we do! If you’re shipping luggage with us, it will need to be either shrink-wrapped or packed in a box for security and processing purposes.
Option 1: Shrink-wrapped
We offer shrink-wrapping at an additional cost of $10.
This is ideal if your luggage is simply being used as a container to hold your items, and you’re not too concerned about cosmetic damage during transit.
📌 Important note: While shrink-wrapping luggage is a popular option among shippers, please be aware that shrink-wrapping without an outer box is not considered proper transit packaging by couriers. As such, any damage claims will be rejected due to insufficient protection. Please proceed only if you're comfortable with this risk.
To proceed:
• Add 2 cm buffer to your luggage dimensions when declaring them
• Select “No need packing” during checkout
• In the comment box, mention that you'd like your luggage shrink-wrapped
• Our team will send a top-up link for the $10 fee later
Option 2: Packed in a box
This will protect and secure your luggage during transit, however may cost significantly more to ship as the cost of shipping will include the chargeable weight of the external packaging, instead of the luggage on its own.
For this option, please add at least 5 cm to the length, width, and height of your box when filling out the shipment form.
3. Polymailers & Documents 📩
At JustShip, we aim to keeping your package secure and maintaining the smallest possible size.
a. How do we calculate charges?
- Whether it's polymailers or documents, we treat them the same way as any other package.
- We calculate charges based on the weight and dimensions of the item, opting for the higher value between the actual and volumetric weight (e.g. an A4 paper can be declared 30 x 24 x 1 cm, and will have a volumetric weight of 0.15kg).
- This ensures that you're only paying for the true cost of shipping your item, taking into account both its weight and size.
b. What's the minimum charge?
- Given that we have a minimum chargeable weight of 0.5kg, most thin documents and small polymailers will fall into this category.
- This means that even if your item weighs less than 0.5kg, the shipping cost will still be calculated based on a weight of 0.5kg.
c. What if I use my own polymailers?
- If you prefer to use your own polymailers, that's perfectly fine! We won't impose additional charges for this. However, we do recommend that your polymailers meet international shipping standards to avoid any potential issues during transit.
- Additionally, we recommend you tape all loose ends tightly to maintain the most compact dimensions for your shipment. This helps to minimize the volumetric weight and can lower your shipping costs.
4. Do you pack electronics? 🖥️
Yes we do! However, Please note that JustShip will not be liable for any electrical malfunctions of the internal components, we can only guarantee that your item is packed in a manner that prevents any external damage during transit.
For Monitors:
We have seen people remove the GPUs from the motherboard and pack them separately when shipping a desktop, as the GPU to motherboard connection can be flimsy. Therefore, we recommend that you remove the GPU from the motherboard before the collection of your items, and also fill up the empty spaces with bubble wrap, foam or other packing materials that will help prevent any possible movement within your PC.
Kindly note that JustShip will only guarantee the external physical condition of the desktop (i.e. no dents, no scratches). We will not be liable for the working condition of the GPU, and all other internal parts.
